Senior PHP Developer
EYEMAGINE is looking for an innovative, full-time, on-site Senior PHP Developer to join our team of Magento certified developers. General Responsibilities:
- Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications and tools written in HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, CSS, MySQL
- Write object oriented PHP software
- Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices
- Writing technical software requirements/specifications
Essential Skills:
- Able to maintain a mature problem solving attitude while dealing with responsibilities, problems, or difficulties in a calm manner.
- Able to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternative solutions; use logic, mathematics, or other problem solving tools in data analysis or in generating solutions.
- Able to develop unique and novel solutions to problems; use intuition and a new way of thinking to give birth to new ideas; to present information in an attention-getting and interesting manner.
- Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency; willing to commit to long hours of work and make personal sacrifice in order to reach goals.
- Able to clearly present information through the spoken word; influence or persuade others through oral presentation in positive or negative circumstances; listen well.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience
- 5 years of experience in in-depth software development in numerous web-based applications.
- Proficient with HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, CSS, and MySQL
- Familiar with Git, Prototype, and Linux environments
