EYEMAGINE designed a distinct and visually stimulating user experience for Classic Shaving, using industry-leading eCommerce web design techniques. Classic Shaving’s previous site featured a lengthy navigation sidebar in which product tabs had to compete with each other for attention. Now, users are able to access Classic Shaving’s offerings through an intuitive, clean homepage navigation bar. The new navigation bar hosts a drop down menu displaying product sub-categories. EYEMAGINE developed a video slider on the Classic Shaving homepage that links stimulating images to featured product collections. The video slider dramatically reduced the amount of text and increased the aesthetic appeal on the company’s homepage.
EYEMAGINE’s Magento Enterprise Edition configuration expertise was applied to build crucial static pages for new visitors, including the “Introduction to Classic Shaving” and “Recommendations/Getting Started” pages, accessible at all times from the navigation bar. An “Add to Wishlist” button allows Classic Shaving customers to add products to a wishlist directly from a product or category page. Product images have been made more interactive, by including a mouse hover-over feature. EYEMAGINE completed the data migration of Classic Shaving’s thousands of SKUs into Magento Enterprise Edition and effectively bundled relevant products into distinct categories like razors, brushes, and accessories.

The upgrade to Magento Enterprise Edition now enables Classic Shaving to use a paperless automated system that streamlines their order fulfillment process. Administrators can easily update orders, identify expedited shipping orders, identify and track payments, print packing slips, and automate sales tax calculations.
