Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

EYEMAGINE believes the web should work for everyone. We design and build eyemaginetech.com to be usable by people with the widest possible range of abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-input software, and keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) on every page.
  • Text and interactive controls meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their background.
  • All images carry meaningful alt text; decorative images are explicitly marked.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators on every focusable element.
  • Form fields have associated labels and clear error messaging.
  • A “Skip to main content” link appears as the first focusable element.
  • The site supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Light and dark color themes both meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas under active improvement:

  • Some third-party embeds (analytics, tag managers, marketing pixels) may load content we do not directly control. We choose vendors with strong accessibility track records and review their output regularly.
  • Decorative motion graphics throughout the site respect the user’sprefers-reduced-motionsetting; if you encounter any animation that does not, please report it.

On accessibility overlays

We do not use third-party accessibility overlay widgets (sometimes shown as a wheelchair icon or floating toolbar). Independent research and the disability community have found that such overlays often fail to deliver real accessibility and can interfere with assistive technology that users already configure for themselves. Instead, we work to build accessibility directly into the page.

Report an accessibility issue

If you encounter a barrier on this site, or you have suggestions for how we can improve, we want to hear from you. We aim to respond to accessibility inquiries within 5 business days.

Where possible, please include the page URL, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and a description of the problem. A screenshot or screen recording helps us reproduce the issue quickly.

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on desktop and mobile, with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Older browsers and unsupported assistive technology combinations may produce a degraded experience.
